Fascial Stretch Therapy
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a table-assisted neuromyofascial stretching method that focuses on the connective tissue system (fascia) rather than isolated muscle treatment developed by Ann and Chris Frederick. Unlike traditional stretching that isolates and stretches specific muscles. FST creates lasting changes with gentle, painless assisted stretching and dramatically improves your flexibility by decompressing your joints and unwinding the cognitive tissue “web” of your body. Lack of flexibility is the cause of most people’s day-to-day aches and pains which can significantly affect your health and quality of life.
The body’s connective tissue system is a three dimensional web that surrounds, interweaves between and interpenetrates all organs, muscles, organs, bones, nerve fibers and just about everything from head to toe. This connective tissue is called the fascial system. The fascial system provides the body with a functional structure and creates an environment that enables all body systems to operate in an integrated manner.
FST sessions are performed on a treatment table with comfortable padded straps that stabilize the parts of the body not being stretched. Clients typically wear loose-fitting or athletic clothing. The clients will be asked to breathe and ease into a gradual series of gentle but deep stretching movements. The session is pain-free and relaxing.

Decreased compression and impingement in the joints
Muscular balance
Improved sports performance
Enhanced faster recovery
Reduced or eliminated pain
Reduced risk of injury
